We are specialised in exotic snacks, sweets and drinks. Our goal is to pass on our passion for snacks and to encourage people to discover new products from around the world.

All items are carefully categorized and can be filtered according to their properties. This makes Snackpirat.ch a user friendly platform to explore and discover new snacks based on your preferences.

We are always on adventures to find new, delicious treasures. New snacks are already at sea and are waiting to be eaten!

  • All items are assigned to characteristics such as taste, flavor, consistency and type. The filter function on the category page allows a user friendly navigation based on various features or combinations and makes discovering new snacks easy.
  • Discover interesting facts and background stories for various products or brands and personal comments from the Snackpirate itself

Transparancy and trust

  • Although not required by law, the best-before date of every item is displayed on the product page. The date is carefully monitored. Items that are about to expire are offered at lower prices and marked accordingly.
  • All products can be rated, and even the worst ratings will be published.

Diligence and Professionalism

  • The ingredients of each item are carefully checked so that even the most exotic snacks comply with Swiss legislation.
  • Each product is labeled in a national language in accordance with the Swiss Food Law, and all the necessary information is available on the product packaging.
  • Products with soon-to-be or recently expired best-before dates, but which can still be consumed without problems, are only sold with clear labeling and with a price reduction.
  • The condition of the items are checked carefully. If an item or it's packaging seems to be damaged it will only be sold at special prices (if at all) with an according notice.
  • Our products are kept in a cool and secure storage room and handled with great care.

Snackpirat.ch has been configured so that the connection is permanently created with HTTPS. With permanent HTTPS, all communication runs over SSL, i.e. it provides end-to-end protection for searches, login, contact requests, etc. A small disadvantage is a slightly increased traffic during the SSL/TLS handshake, but this is usually negligible nowadays.

Transparency

Providing as much information as possible offers valuable support for the purchase decision. The best-before date is displayed with each product. The products can be rated, with bad ratings also being published. Shipping in CH

We are a Swiss company. Our warehouse is located in Spreitenbach with good logistic connection.

All orders are shipped with our partner Swiss Post AG.

Orders that arrive Mon-Fri before 15:30 will be processed and shipped on the same day. Orders after 15:30 will be shipped the following business day.
